Inês Barbosa da Costa is a graphic designer and illustrator. Born and raised in Lisbon (Portugal) but originally from Guiné Bissau the artist describes her work as a simplification of complex surroundings. Highly influenced by the Swiss movement the artist explores subjects such as identity, objectivity and readability. As a graphic designer, the artist believes that the solution to a design problem should emerge from its content. The meaning behind the design is far more important than its aesthetics.
